Who builds zipradar

Published 2026-04-20 · Last reviewed 2026-04-24

zipradar is built and operated by Paulo de Vries, an independent software founder based in the Netherlands. Contact: contact@editnative.com.

The project is not venture-backed. There are no investors, no acquisition targets, and no data-broker relationships. The business model is transparent: free reader access supported by display advertising that meets Google AdSense publisher policies, plus per-crawler licensing for AI agents via Cloudflare Pay-Per-Crawl.

Why a single operator?

Federal and county agencies already publish the underlying data. The gap is not more data — it is a single, accurate, plain-English view of the data that already exists. A small team can ship, audit, and maintain that view faster than an enterprise can hold a meeting about it.

What zipradar is not

  • Not a people-search site. Homeowner names, deed signatures, and any personally identifying records are never cached or republished. The sex-offender registry (NSOPW) is deep-linked only.
  • Not legal, medical, or financial advice. Every page cites the primary regulatory source. For an official flood determination, zoning ruling, or tax assessment, consult the source directly.
  • Not a real-estate brokerage. zipradar does not list properties, collect commissions, or facilitate transactions.

Editorial independence

Advertising is served by Google AdSense. Ad placement is disclosed and separated from editorial content. No sponsored content is ever labeled as editorial. If a data source ever becomes a paying partner, that relationship will be disclosed in full on this page and in the methodology page before any content ships.
